Please join us in celebrating Southern Legal Counsel's 40 Years of Impact: Pioneering Justice and Protecting Civil Rights.

Morris Dees will be our keynote speaker on October 21 at the University of Florida Hilton. Dees co-founded Southern Poverty Law Center and is known for innovative lawsuits that crippled some of America's most notorious white supremacist hate groups. He was named one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America by the National Law Journal in 2006. Dees will speak about the importance of public interest law firms, like Southern Legal Counsel, that focus on impact litigation.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. for a reception with music, silent auction, drinks, and hors d'oeuvres. The keynote is tentatively scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $40 each or two for $75. To purchase tickets, please visit EventBrite. A block of rooms has been reserved for October 20-22, 2017 at Hilton University of Florida Conference Center. The special room rate will be available until September 20th or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.

It will be a special evening for us to remember our past successes, look towards the future, and honor all of the people who make this work possible.
